The first-class coaches, with 7 compartments of 6 seats each, were refurbished in the late 1950s with the aim of making them mixed-use, including a small cafeteria by removing two of the compartments and retaining the green fabric upholstery. The second-class coaches type BB, on the other hand, had 8 compartments of 8 seats each, upholstered in the classic blue skai. The BB4 coaches, however, were old third-class coaches with 9 compartments, which had been reupholstered in blue like the previous ones and also reclassified to second class. A similar modification occurred with the BBD4 baggage car, which also originated from third class, with its 4 compartments reclassified to second class.​​​​​​​
